hen I first started to ping an arbitrarily selected IP from this prefix, I got 4 or 5 timeouts before getting a response, but
after that I was able to ping it without any loss at all. I checked further and found that after I cleared the IP addresses
entry out of our routers ARP table, the device would again take 4 or 5 times to respond, and then would begin working without
any issue. This is usually the result of an outdated network driver or incompatible software on the server, but I have gone
ahead and static routed the prefix to the servers base IP so that there will be a permanent entry in our table for that address
as the next hop for the secondary prefix. Please take a look and let us know if you have any further issues.
